The Arena Lacrosse League opens their second season on Friday, December 29 with two local rivalries headlining opening night including the Whitby Steelhawks making their ALL debut against cross-town rivals and defending ALL Cup Champion Oshawa Outlaws at Children’s Arena in Oshawa. At the ILA in Hagersville, the hometown Six Nations Snipers host the St. Catharines ShockWave. Both opening night games have an 8 p.m. start.
These opening night games are part of a 49 game regular season, which sees seven teams vie for the right to hoist the aforementioned ALL Cup.
The Peterborough Timbermen open their season the next day, Saturday, December 30 at Syl Apps Community Centre in Paris, Ont. as they face the host RiverWolves at 7 p.m.
The Timbermen will play 14 games over the regular season including two home games at the Peterborough Memorial Centre on Saturday, January 6 and Sunday, January 7. Their remaining five “home” games will take place at Children’s Arena in Oshawa.
