The Peterborough Timbermen have traded three players to the Six Nations Snipers ahead of their home opener on Saturday.
Clay Arnold, Kroy Arnold and Travis Elvin were traded to the Six Nations Snipers for 11th, 12th and 13th round draft picks in 2020.
“We wanted these guys to be able to play,” said head coach and general manager Joe Sullivan. “It just wasn’t going to be possible to get them into games with us and that’s not fair to them. The three we are losing are all committed lacrosse players that we can’t thank enough for their contributions.”
The Timbermen take to the floor at 3 p.m. today at Millbrook Arena. Tickets are available at the door for $10 for adults and $5 for children under 14. Kids are invited to play on the floor at intermission as long as they have their own helmet, stick and ball.
