The Peterborough Timbermen have traded Andrew DaSilva to the Toronto Monarchs for future considerations. DaSilva made his Timbermen debut on Sunday but Sullivan wants him to have more playing time than he would get with Peterborough.
Peterborough also released Tyler Grandel and Aaron Bradshaw to the U22 team.
“For us it wasn’t a matter of if they were good enough but more about their development,” said Sullivan. “Playing a leading role with the junior team will have a more positive impact on them than if they were just practicing with us. We look forward to using them through the course of the year as they were top prospects for us and I know the junior Timbermen will be thrilled to have players of their calibre.”
