Saturday night the NLL’s Buffalo Bandits are hosting their 7th annual Tucker Out Lymphoma night in support of the Williams family. Tucker, the son of former Bandits’ player Shawn Williams, lost his battle with Burkitt lymphoma in 2014. It was a loss that still resonates throughout the lacrosse community.
The Timbermen wanted to support the Williams family and the Braver Than Brave campaign which honours Tucker’s life philosophy during his too-short time with us. Saturday afternoon’s game vs. Whitby will feature raffle prizes including a pair of ALL UA gloves, a UA lacrosse stick, signed Timbermen jerseys, 2021 Timbermen season tickets, and a StringKing/Halifax Thunderbirds care package donated by Timbermen graduate Colton Armstrong. Tickets will be sold at the Millbrook Arena canteen during the game.
Doors open at 2 p.m. and the game begins at 3 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 5-14 and kids under 5 are free.
