Ahead of their expected season opener on February 5, the Arena Lacrosse League’s Peterborough Timbermen have assigned eight players to the team’s developmental roster.
Morgen Bedlington, Aaron Bradshaw, Adam Brown, Owen Dale, Owen Hill, Tucker King, Brayden MacGregor and Jensen Walker will report to the formerly-called U22 league.
“These are young, high-potential players that the Timbermen wish to keep in their system by having them play full time with the Developmental League,” said head coach and general manager Joe Sullivan. “This way they can practice with both clubs and we can call them up when needed. The only way to develop a player is have them with their sticks in their hands as often as possible.”
The Timbermen’s home opener is set for Saturday, February 5th at 2 p.m. at Millbrook Arena vs. the Paris RiverWolves. Limited tickets are only available at the door, and fans must show proof of vaccination to enter the facility. Masks must be worn while inside.
