The Peterborough Timbermen will play their final regular season game of the season this Saturday at 2 p.m. versus the Oshawa Outlaws at Millbrook Arena. The game has playoff positioning implications with the Timbermen aiming to move up to third place.
Playoff games will all take place at Brampton Memorial Arena and the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena so this is the last chance this season to see the Timbermen play locally.
Fans coming to the game are encouraged to wear plaid to support the team in an effort to “plaid out the arena” to intimidate the Outlaws.
It’s also Fan Appreciation Day with lots of activities for fans to take part in! There will be giveaways throughout the game and a meet-and-greet autograph session with the team after the game.
Kids are encouraged to bring their sticks, helmets and ball to play on the carpet at intermission. They will also have an opportunity to shoot on a target in the net for prizes.
Tickets are available at the door; $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 5-14. Children under five are always free!
