Timbermen start new year with 2-1 record

Headed in to Week 5 of the Arena Lacrosse League season, the Peterborough Timbermen have a 2-1 record, as they picked up wins against Ohsweken (21-11) and Paris (12-11) before falling to Six Nations last weekend (16-13).

Providing consistent coverage of the Timbermen has proven difficult this season without a home rink. Millbrook Arena remains closed due to mold, so the Timbermen are playing every game on the road.  Saturday they return to familiar territory at Children’s Arena in Oshawa, where the team called home for several years before moving to Millbrook. They face the Outlaws (1-2) on Saturday, and will return to Children’s Arena next week to face the Toronto Monarchs on January 11.

Games can be watched on tape delay via the ALL’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@arenalacrosseleague.

Cam Milligan and Jack MacAlpine have been the team’s standouts thus far. Milligan leads the ALL in points (27) and assists (19), and is eighth in goals (8). MacAlpine sits third in points (23), second in goals (12) and seventh in assists (11).
